The MacFarlane Room is at the southwest side of the house and overlooks a magnificent view of the country side.  A wonderfully sunny room with three large bay windows with side panel floral drapes and solid colour roman shades. Also a settee to lounge on with a good book.
	The settee is made of cast iron and was created from an old 1920's baby crib. We upholstered the seat and back cushions in the same plaid fabric as the bed skirt with full round floral bolsters at each end.

We wanted to keep all the rooms as airy and french country as possible so we went with the white cast iron headboards. This bedroom has been painted in a soft sand accented with two floral prints and a solid rose beige/plaid for the duvet cover.  All of our beds have soft fluffy feather duvets and a magnificent custom made reversible comforter for the foot of the bed and matching pillow shams. Our guests rave about how magnificent our Simmons Beautyrest mattresses are and some have gone out and purchased this exact mattress for their homes.

All our rooms have great ensuite baths with showers. We have created custom made mosaic glass mirrors to compliment the decor of the bedrooms. We have dressed each bathroom with loads of extras like cast iron shelving/towel racks, extra towels/facecloths, handmade soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryers and a few antique pieces as well.

For your pleasure all our rooms have been accented with antique lamps, side tables, rugs, dressers and antique framed paintings, prints or lithographs. The floors are all original pine planks which have been refinished and stained with a blended fruitwood colour.
