Alexander Anderson was the first owner of the land Briarcliffe now sits on. It was a loyalist land grant to Anderson for his service to the King during the American Revolutionary War. MacFarlane Room

Edwin and Fedrica MacFarlane built Briarcliffe in 1914. This was their master bedroom for 40 years. Rate: $175 + taxes (2 people) (Can accommodate 3...extra person $35)
Sudbury Room

In the early 1950's, Edwin and Fedrica retired and sold Briarcliffe. Over the next 40 years, it was home to three generations of the Sudbury family. Rate: $150.00 + taxes (2 people)
Mulligan Room

Mary Alice Mulligan was the third owner of this wonderful house but because she lives off Island, she never resided in the house on a full time basis visiting only in the summer. Rate: $130.00 + taxes (2 people)
Leard Room

Fedrica MacFarlane's maiden name was Leard. It was the Leard family Lucy Maud Montgomery boarded with when she was teaching at the Lower Bedeque School. Rate: $150.00 + taxes (2 people)
