Mulligan Room
Mary Alice Mulligan was the third owner of this wonderful house but because she lives out of province she never resided in the house on a full time bases visiting only in the summer. Mary and Bill purchased the house from her in November, 2001 then started the renovating immediately.

The Mulligan Room overlooks the southwest side of the house, veranda area and gardens. This room has been set up for our special guests who need the convenience of single beds but could very easily be converted to a king size room with a days notice.

You are surrounded by a vibrant blue colour on the walls called Airway and lively floral drapes/shams with a multi coloured stripe for the bed skirt. Our beautiful cosy reversible comforters were custom made with striped pillow rolls as accents.

All our rooms have great private baths with showers...with this one a few steps from your door. We have created custom made mosaic glass mirrors to compliment the decor of the bedrooms. We have dressed each bath with loads of extras like cast iron shelving/towel racks, extra towels/facecloths, handmade soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryers and a few antique pieces as well.

Our guests rave about how magnificent our Simmons Beautyrest mattresses are and some have gone out and purchased this exact mattress for their homes.

For your pleasure all our rooms have been accented with antique lamps, side tables, rugs, dressers and antique framed paintings, prints or lithographs. The floors are all original pine planks which have been refinished and stained with a blended fruitwood colour.

Special guest books have been left in each of our rooms so that you can leave us with your thoughts and adventures while staying at Briarcliffe Inn.

Room Rate - $95 per night(2) plus Federal(7%)& Provincial Taxes(10%)
