Leard Room
Fedrica and Edwin MacFarlane were the original owners of Briarcliffe.....Fedrica's maiden name was Leard so this room is named in her honour.

The Leard Room is on the northeast side of the house and overlooks several gardens and our future healing labyrinth. This room is a very bright, cheery colour called Queen Ann Pink. Our french country theme continues with a small floral print on the drapes and solid colour roman shades. Our queen size Simmons Beautyrest mattress has been dressed with a magnificent reversible duvet and accented with a cast iron headboard. All our beds have fluffy feather duvets and a magnificent custom made comforter for the foot of the bed which gives an old European feel to the rooms.

The Leard Room has a special in room sink area for convenience which has been skirted with a soft multi coloured stripe fabric which is also the fabric used on the bed skirt.

All our rooms have great ensuite baths with showers. We have created custom made mosaic glass mirrors to compliment the decor of the bedrooms. We have dressed each bath with loads of extras like cast iron shelving/towel racks, extra towels/facecloths, handmade soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryers and a few antique pieces as well.

Our guests rave about how magnificent our Simmons Beautyrest mattresses are and some have gone out and purchased this exact mattress for their homes.

For your pleasure our rooms have been accented with antique lamps, side tables, rugs, dressers and antique framed paintings, prints or lithographs. The floors are all original pine planks which have been refinished and stained with a blended fruitwood colour.

Special guest books have been left in each of our rooms so that you can leave us with your thoughts and adventures while staying at Briarcliffe Inn.

Room Rate - $100 per night(2) plus Federal(7%) and Provincial Taxes(10%).
